Fujisawa Ukiyo-e Museum

Introduction

If you want to experience Japanese traditional culture, the Ukiyo-e museum in Fujisawa is a good place to visit. Ukiyo-e is a type of Japanese traditional art. Ukiyo-e artists produced their art on woodblock prints and paintings. Many ukiyo-e artworks feature female beauties, kabuki artists and nature.

In this museum, you can see about 50 pieces of Ukiyo-e art works. Some are about 200 years old. You can also see the worth of renowned ukiyo-e artists such as Utagawa Hiroshige and Katsushika Hokusai.

Getting here
The museum is a 5-minute walk from Tsujido station on the Tōkaidō Main Line. It is on the 7th floor of Coco Terrace.
